Two new Apple iPhone models and new iPod touches
By: Peter Chubb | March 20, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has already been discovered that a new iPhone mode was found buried deep within newer firmware, but would you be shocked to learn that there were in fact two new Apple (AAPL) iPhone models. There are also 2 new iPod Touch devices in the mix as well.
Upon closer inspection the beta 3.0 build that Apple provided to developers, a product code iPhone2,1 and iPhone3,0 were found. For those who do not know, the iPhone 3G is identified as iPhone2,1.
The current iPod Touch is identified as iPod2,1, but models iPod2,2 and iPod3,1 have also been found in the firmware. It is thought that we could see a new iPhone model in June, this is about the time that iPhone OS 3.0 is released.
