PlayStation 3 gets Logitech Harmony Adapter
By: Peter Chubb | March 20, 2009 | Leave a CommentNo matter where you go in the world, it seems that bad things happen, so it is nice to hear some good news for a change. For Sony (SNE) PS3 owner’s news of a long awaited device has appeared on the FCC database.
There is not much detail on the device, but we do know that it is a Logitech Harmony Adapter for PlayStation 3. Since the Sony PlayStation 3 was launched users have had to put up with IR-based universal remotes had to rely on huge and ugly IR-to-Bluetooth converters so the two devices can speak to each other.
Once this new device hits the market, all that will then change for Harmony owners. So what we need to know is, when will the device be available, how much will it cost, and what other Harmony remotes are compatible.
