About or month or so ago Amazon launched its latest e-book reader, Kindle 2. Now Amazon has rolled out a firmware update for the device. The update is not a major one, firmware 2.0.2 will allow publishers to disable text-to-speech as and when they need.
OK so we know that this was not the most exciting news, but if you have a Kindle 2, then we thought you would like to know. If you are the proud owner Amazon’s (AMZN) Kindle 2, then please let us know if you notice any difference with this latest update.
Amazon’s latest generation wireless reading device is just 1/3 of an inch thick and weighs just 10.2 ounces, which is lighter than a paperback. The device is not cheap though, as it sells for $359.00 from Amazon, as you would expect.
