RIM BlackBerry gets Clear Channel radio thanks to iHeart

If you are a RIM BlackBerry (RIMM) users, then you will be pleased to know that your handset can now get Clear Channel radio thanks to iHeart. It was only a matter of time before this application was made available to BlackBerry users, as the iHeartRadio iPhone app was a huge success.
Clear Channel’s listeners went up as soon as the app was made available on Apple’s (AAPL) Smartphone, and those figures are all set to increase again once BlackBerry users start to download this latest app.
The iHeartRadio BlackBerry application will stream radio broadcasts from 150 of Clear Channel’s radio stations, over Wi-Fi and cellular data. The app will allow users to bookmark their favorite stations, randomize radio streams and tag songs.

I HEART the iHeartRadio application for my Blackberry and of course I’m a fan of it on Facebook. A couple of days ago on the Facebook fan page I found an iHeartRadio widget that let’s you stream your favorite radio station or side channel right from your profile.
