Peek Pronto in 2009

Peek is planning a new device called the Peek Pronto for 2009, but not much more is known. We know that the device is in development and that the company will be announcing more details soon, as a teaser image was leaked to Engadget.

Peek has commented just saying that the device will be much, much faster in every way possible.” What that device is still remains a mystery. All what Peek said is very cryptic, such as to open a menu on 1.08 is .09 seconds, to open the menu on Pronto, .04 seconds. All strange to us.

SlashGear have spoken to one of their contacts over at Peek, and they said that the new device could possibly have 3G connectivity; this is what will help it achieve increased speeds. It is not know if the Pronto device will have GPS or just online map access.
