Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0: Will you download today?

As of 12 noon Eastern Standard Time today we can expect to hear the humming of those Microsoft (MSFT) servers as they struggle to handle the demand of users updating to Internet Explorer 8. The question is, will you download IE8 today, or wait and see if it is a worthy update.

It is no secret that Internet Explorer has the greater percentage of market share when it comes to web browsers, but Mozilla Firefox have been closing the gap fast. Apple (AAPL) Safari and Google (GOOG) have also been slowly catching up.

The new IE8 browser will have to be something special, as their dominance in the browser market has been slowly fading, with Firefox closing fast. The latest edition of Internet Explorer from Microsoft has a number of new features; these include an increase in performance as well as better security against Malware.

So will you be downloading Internet Explorer 8 today, see results below? Vote Here
