Ghostbusters is ‘Gears of War lite’ say Atari

Atari have today compared their upcoming title Ghostbusters: The video game on Xbox 360 third-person shooter Gears Of War. The game is due out on multi-platform on June 16th in the US and June 19th over in Europe.

As reported by VG247, Senior producer for the game Garrett Moehring said that they are trying to make the game as serious as it can get and have the game appeal to a mainstream audience.

He stated: “We’re trying to make this pretty mainstream as far as a third-person shooter goes. Because that’s really what it is for the most part, it’s an action-shooter — Gears of War lite, in a way. But it’s not as complex.”
