G1 makes the largest profit for T-Mobile
By: Daniel Chubb | March 19, 2009 | Leave a CommentApple (AAPL) has made some good money from the iPhone and App sales, and today we hear that T-Mobile has made a good profit from the G1 Android.
According to a report from comScore, the G1 (aka Google phone) has made the largest profit for T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) when compared to any other device on their network. Although we would like to point out that this phone is down in 8th position for best selling phones on T-Mobile.
Some say that the way to profit has been the touchscreen, and others claim it’s the price plan and phone cost upfront. The BlackBerry (RIMM) Storm and iPhone are the leaders in profit over at Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and AT&T (NYSE: T).
