Sony PSP 3G Specs: Rumored

You have to love it when rumors start spreading across the Internet, they often start from a small website and then it is a snowball effect. Take this latest one involving the rumored Sony (SNE) PSP 3G Specs which started life from NeoGAF.

This next generation PlayStation Portable has many names, such as PSP 3G, PSP-4000 or the PSP2. The rumor states that the handheld will in fact be called the PSP 3G, and unlike previous models will have a touchsreen and support for UMTS, microphone and Bluetooth.

There will not be a UMD-drive, but it will have a keyboard with a slide mechanism. The new device will allow you to download games from the PSN store. The rumor also states that the Sony PSP 3G will be available in the USA and Japan by the end of April
