Electronic Arts have refused to confirm whether or not Sony’s Playstation 3 will be getting a Mass Effect 2 release. The game has already been announced for the Xbox 360 and PC and is scheduled for an early 2010 release.
No doubt this highly anticipated RPG is a title that many gamers are waiting for and it must of come as a huge blow to PS3 owners when EA announced the game yesterday only to find out the PS3 was not on the list.
When speaking to VideoGamer, EA had this to say. “There is no information on a PS3 version at this time.”
We would like to know your views on this. Do you think Microsoft have secured some sort of exclusive rights for the sequel? It would not be surprising if they have.

Like lost planet 2, it would be impossible to make on the PS3. The gpu is just too small. Maybe sony should offer a upgrade and they can get next gen games too.
Are you sure about that? The PS3 could handle Lost Planet 1 just fine, I’m pretty sure it will be able to cope with Mass Effect 2 as well. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Mass effect triolgy is not excluive to Xboax 360. It would be descrace to Bioware and the game.
