Verizon Wireless Motorola Q9c isn’t dead after all

The dust had just started to settle on all those rumors regarding the Motorola (MOT) Q Series, and we had resigned to the fact that they were not true. Well Verizon Wireless (VZ) thought they would throw a curve ball.

Verizon has announced that they will be re-releasing the Motorola Q9c. This re-release of this phone will see the TALKS feature coming to the handset. All other features of the phone look to be unchanged.

The TALKS features from Verizon is designed for the blind and visually impaired customers. The system has a screen reader, which adds speech to the standard handset interface. This is done by using Windows Mobile to convert the text that is displayed into highly intelligible speech.

This news has started all those rumors again. People are now asking if we could see more from the Motorola Q series.
