Unlocked cell phones since 1996
By: Peter Chubb | March 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen it comes to choosing a cell phone, we often do not get the perfect match in handset or carrier. Take the Apple (AAPL) iPhone, millions of us wanted one, but AT&T put a few people off. There are ways around this of course but it is not legal in any way and we do not condone such action.
There are other handsets on the market though that you can already purchase unlocked, I have done it on a number of occasions, and it is legal. There is always a downside to this though, and that is the handset price is usually a bit more expensive, but better to pay more to have the cell phone you want on the carrier of your choice.
Cellhut has been selling unlocked cell phones since 1996, and has been a very important part of its business. There is nothing better than offering the user what they want. Cellhut are featuring two great-unlocked cell phones, the LG KP500 (066570) and the Nokia 6300 (NOK). The former will cost you $189.99 with the latter costing $179.99.
