PS3 Game Release Dates 2009

2008 was a good year for Sony PS3 (SNE) users as a number of great games were released. 2009 is set to become even better, and should help to sell even more PlayStation 3 consoles. As with all consoles, there are always a few poorly made games, but the big hitters always outweigh these.

2009 has already gotten off to a great start with the release of Killzone 2. We knew that the game was going to be good, but who would have thought that it would have made gamers put their old WWII rifles down from Call of Duty: World at War for something a little more modern.

Looking closely at the list of Sony PS3 games that are due for release in 2009, I can see that we will all be digging deep to purchase them. So you do not believe me then, check out what I think will be hot games for 2009.

The God Father II from Electronic arts, this will be released in April. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, this will be released in Q2 of 2009. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams both will be released sometime in Q4.

Other games that are coming to the Sony PS3 in 2009 but are yet to have any sort of timeframe include, Assassin’s Creed 2, Beatles: Rock Band, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the much anticipated Gran Turismo 5.
