It has been confirmed today, that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, a once Xbox 360 exclusive will be coming to the Playstation 3 and is already 50% completed.
The news from Kotaku also reveals that the remake will contain PSN support as well as brand new content, nice. (gone, are the days of shoddy ports we hope)
The story also confirms that Yosuke Hayashi, director of the first and most popular Ninja Gaiden Sigma, will once again take charge for the remake for the PS3. Head to the link to view scans from the game.
So, are PS3 fans happy that Ryu Hayabusa is making a return? Let us know what you think.

Another nail in the 360’s coffin! It is doomed! PS3 FTW!
(P.S. this was a joke to illustrate how moronic Xbots sounded when assumed PS3 exclusives were announced for the 360! The difference here though is that the devs said this game was to be a full 360 exclusive on numerous occasions, so it’s an interesting change of heart…)
So in summary, it’s just Halo, Gears and Forza left on Xbox, everything else is now on PS3 too (and usually better as a result of the later release), aside from the massive slew of PS3 exclusives that will never see the light of day on Xbox, due to Sony actually owning the studios that make them…
The Xbox really is a dimming light these days. PS3 is where it is 2009 and beyond.
Halo, Gears, Forza, Mass Effect, Left 4 dead, Fable, Crackdown are all at present still unavailable on the ps3.. and those are amazing console franchises.
The thing about the “PS3 is where it is 2009 and beyond” is we’ve heard it all before.. for the last 2 years infact.. and its still never become “The year of the ps3″
The reason being is that sony’s plan all along has been to get the ps3 owners to keep looking to the future.
They’ll announce games years before they come out.
MS waits for the big trade shows and drops bombs by announcing huge exclusives.
GDC is just a week away, and only another month or so until E3. From what MS are saying, they have “Broke the bank” to secure huge exclusives.. and once these are announced, as with the last 2 years, suddenly the 360 is the major player again.
Alan Wake and APB developers both confirmed for GDC and E3. these WILL be the two biggest games of the year.
Surprise, Surprise.
did anyone NOT see this coming?
awsome
ive been DYING… to play this game
even though its crazy hard, and all the wierd camera controls
this is so awesome that this game is coming to ps3. i was so mad (and a lil sad) when i played the first one and discovered that the sequel would not be on ps3. but now that it is i am extremely excited.
