Nextar MA809 PMP: Specs and price

Nextar are to add another sleek, slim portable media player that is only 0.25-inch thick. The Nextar MA809 PMP is versatile and has a range of features that are sure to go down well. Some of these include a TFT display with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

The player has MP3 capability, FM tuner and a choice of 2GB, 4GB or 8GB storage capacities; this is in addition to its 2GB Micro SD card. This new player comes with everything that you need to have your own portable home theater with you at all times.

Other features include support for AVI video format, JPEG, BMP, and GIF photo formats, and WMA music. The Nextar MA809 PMP also has an eight-mode equalizer and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface.

The Nextar MA809 portable media player will be available in the second quarter of 2009, the 2GB will cost $99.99, the 4GB will cost $119.99 and the 8GB will cost $149.99.
