The day is Tuesday 17 2009 and it is going to be a big day for iPhone users. At 10 a.m. PDT (1700 GMT), Apple (AAPL) will be holding a presentation about the new Apple iPhone 3.0 OS. This special invitation only event is being held in Cupertino, California.
Apple iPhone users will not get the update today, but it should give us a great insight as to what we can expect to see from the next OS update. Macworld know that this is a huge event so will have a live update as things unfold throughout the presentation.
We know that Steve Jobs will not be at the event, and it is not known who will host the event, but Macworld assure us that iPhone Software VP Scott Forstall will be there. To keep up-to-date with all what is going on at the Apple iPhone v3.0 Firmware, then visit the Live Update.

All the hype for nothing. No MMS feature, no cut & paste feature, not sure if the rest of the stuff makes a difference. Only sms forwarding works
