Gradius ReBirth is now available on WiiWare

Fans of retro shooter Gradius will be pleased to hear that Gradius Rebirth is now available to download from the Nintendo WiiWare store. It has already been released over in Japan, but the game just been released in North America.

The game is basically an upgraded remix of all the previous dates games to date, but with new features and modes. As reported from NintendoEverything, developers Konami will hope that this will be as successful in the US as it was in Japan.

The game will feature online leaderboards and those difficult, but classic boss battles. If you’re interested, it’s now available for download from the store for 1000 Wii points.
