It has been a little more than two months since we first learned of the Dell (DELL) Adamo, which they showed at the Consumer Electronics Show. Dell has announced that the new notebook dubbed the World’s thinnest laptop will be available from today.
The new laptop is certainly sleek looking with fine attention to deal, but this comes at a price, $1,999 to be exact. That is just a starting price; you have to wonder if Dell if out of touch with the current economy, consumers are looking for more affordable laptops.
The base model comes with an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU9300 (3MB cache/1.2GHz/800Mhz FSB), 2GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 800MHz, 128GB Solid State Drive and Intel® GS45 Integrated Graphics with 256MB Memory.
The top of the range comes with Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU9400 (3MB cache/1.4GHz/800Mhz FSB), 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 800MHz, 128GB Solid State Drive and Intel® GS45 Integrated Graphics with 256MB Memory. The starting price for this is $2,699.
