Castrade CV-MP02 Pocket Projector: Specs and price
By: Peter Chubb | March 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentCastrade decided to launch a new pocket projector to its range over the weekend, the CV-MP02. This latest model looks a lot like the 3M MPro110, although there are a few minor differences. Let us look at some of the specs of this latest pocket projector.
The Castrade CV-MP02 comes with a 10 ANSI lumens, VGA (640 x 480) resolution and uses LCoS display technology. There are two connection ports, composite and a VGA, this helps to keep the weight down.
The MP02 is also much greener than previous models, thanks to its LED lamps, which reduces power consumption. This technology does not produce any heat, so the projector runs silent. The Castrade CV-MP02 comes with a lithium-ion battery; this gives the pocket projector at least an hour’s running time.
The CV-MP02 will only be available to the Japanese market and will cost 35000 Yen, which is about $400.
