Apple iPhone 3.0 OS: Background apps top wishlist

Today is a big day for iPhone users, as Apple (AAPL) will share with us what plans they have for Apple iPhone 3.0 OS. This topic has been covered a lot over the past few days, with iPhone users wondering what new features the new firmware will bring.

Engadget have been running a poll “What do you want most from iPhone 3.0 besides copy and paste?” We all know that copy and paste is the most requested features, so asking what else users would like to see is a great question, and you will be surprised as to what the top feature on the wish list is.

Background apps are at the top getting 11156 votes, that is 22.8% of the votes so far. Other features that users would like to see on Apple iPhone 3.0 OS is Proper Bluetooth support with data tethering, Video recording, Better app organization, MMS, Flash, Horizontal keyboard in every app and finally Ridiculous proprietary headphones.
