The Nokia (NOK) Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM did not get off to a great start in North America, but the cell phone giant is ready to have another go by bringing back the handset to their flagship US stores in Chicago and New York.
The problem with the device before was due to its firmware, now the upgraded firmware allows the 5800 XpressMusic NAM to run perfectly with AT&T (T)’s 3G network. Nokia now hope that they can show North America what the 5800 NAM can really do.
If you ordered your handset online, you should get the upgraded unit within 1-2 weeks. If you already have one, then it should not be too long before Nokia offer an upgrade through its Software Updater. It is nice to see that Nokia have reacted quickly to this problem.
