Comcast Corp and Sony Corp: Planning joint retail store

The economy may be going through a bad time at the moment, but that is not stopping two of the biggest companies Sony (NYSE:SNE) and Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) from opening up a retail store together.
In a report over at CTV, the store is set to open up tomorrow and will showcase a range of products from the two companies and will give them to a chance to reveal new technologies too. It is said that this store will be named, ‘Sony StyleComcast Labs’ and will display products such as Televisions with Comcast’s TV interface running on it, as well as state of the art broadband equipment.
The store will also sell Sony usuals such as Playstation gaming systems, Cameras, Laptops and Camcorders.
