CBS New Apple iPhone App: Stream March Madness Games
By: Peter Chubb | March 16, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere is a great new app for Apple’s iPhone (APPL); if you love your basketball ball then you might be interested in CBS Sport’s (CBS) decision to stream NCAA March Madness basketball games live on to the Smartphone. This new application will only work through Wi-Fi, and will cost $4.99.
This new app has some great features for basketball fans, such as real-time scores, game match-ups and regions. Once a game has finished, then you will be able to view video highlights on demand. For those of you who like to study the stats, then you might enjoy Edge Matchup game previews.
This great feature has full team-by-team analysis along with matchup comparisons. CBS do warn that the application will expire at the conclusion of the NCAA tournament on April 6. It is not certain why this app only works with Wi-Fi, considering CBS have screened television shows over 3G.
