We love to hear about Apple (AAPL) events as they normally end up with some interesting advancements in technology or software, and that’s just what we should get come 10am PST on March 17th.

Next week, Apple will hold an event that will show details on the new iPhone 3.0 firmware. The iPhone’s software can do with many improvements especially with the Palm Pre on the way, but what will be improved and what will not?

Details on iPhone OS 3.0 comes around 8 months after OS 2.0. We know that background apps need to be addressed and our most wanted feature is copy and paste.
