Sony PSP leads Japanese hardware charts

According to latest figures from Media Create, the Sony PSP has taken the top spot in the latest hardware charts,edging ahead of the Nintendo DS.
Sony’s handheld managed almost 60,000 unit sales in Japan for the week ending March 8. As GI.Biz reports, this was down to a new range of colours on offer for the PSP and this alone was enough to see off the DS and DSi who could only manage 43,342 units.
The Playstation 3 remains ahead of the Wii and 360 at the moment, as they are in third place with just under 40,000 units sold.
