T-Mobile G1: Amazon’s sweet deal
By: Peter Chubb | March 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen the T-Mobile (DT) G1 was first launched, you had to pay a hefty price to get your hands on the first handset to use Google’s Android software. Consumers have been hunting high and low for a sweet deal, and finally Amazon has one.
You can now get hold of a T-Mobile G1 for the small sum of $97, only if you are a new customer though. To get this deal you have to sign up to a new, two-year contract. This is truly a great price, and it is not certain how long that price will stay low, best not hang around.
Amazon state that this amazing deal reflects a $250 instant discount, this is based on the agreement that you stay with T-Mobile. Beware that if you deactivate this device or cancel your contract within 181 days, you will then be subject to a charge of up to $250 plus tax.
