Should the Xbox 360 get PS3’s Killzone 2 or 3?

There is no question that Killzone 2 is an amazing game, and that it is an exclusive for the Sony PS3. There are already rumors of a Killzone 3 which will also be for the PlayStation 3, but could it makes its way over to the Xbox 360?

When Bioshock was launched, that was exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PC, that games took over a year to makes its way to the PlayStation 3 but it got there. This does prove that games can in fact become un-exclusive at times.

If you are an Xbox 360 gamer, I do not want to start any sort of war between the PS3 and the Xbox 360. I know that the 360 has some great games, but Killzone 2 or 3 would make a great addition to them.

I would like to ask all those Xbox fans out there if they would like to see Killzone makes its way to their preferred games console.

We have a poll running asking if Killzone 3 should be on the 360, which you can see below. To vote click here.

It won’t come to 360 because its published by Sony. Moron.

  2. scoob101 says:

Killzone was written in house. Theres as much chance of the 360 getting Killzone, as the PS3 setting Halo.

Thats the idea of exclusives. They are kind of, well… exclusive.

    Moron.

  3. Rimmer says:

With both consoles pretty much equal in performance and both with strong install bases it is plain stubborn stupidity to produce games as pure exclusives considering the cost of development. Why deny yourself the extra sales and profits? It is a well known fact that Sony and MS make their gaming profits from software sales and licenses. So why not release a game on both consoles, albeit with a time difference of say 6 months? Imagine, Gears and Halo on the PS3 and LBP or MGS on the 360.

  4. Mornelithe says:

Call it stubborn stupidity if you desire, but plain facts are, MS is playing this game, Sony’s only using their internal devs to their advantage. Maybe….MAYBE if MS wasn’t buying exclusivity left and right, maybe, it’d be ’stubborn and stupid’, facts are. If Sony allows it’s 1st part devs to develope for the 360, there would be no reason to buy a PS3.

Likewise, there’s no reason to buy a 360, because all of the 360 games end up coming out on PC anyway, with vastly superior hardware scaling. Whereas, again, Sony games, never come out on PC.

So, lesson here is, buy a PS3, sell your 360, and put together a gaming PC.

    Morne

    ha ha

ps3 is doing it - killzone is EPIC what a game!

    glad i own an almighty ps3 ;o)

  7. Lon says:

I own all three systems and I can say if I happened to only own a Xbox 360 I would not be interested in Killzone 2, ignore the hype people. The game looks nice but it controls like a dump truck, it’s just not fun. The only reason I own a PS3 at this point is because of the amazing Blu-ray player and a couple games. Trust me 360 owners Halo 3 alone is still a more fun experience that Killzone 2.

Im struggling to understand that last part Lon!! :) How can you justify that?

    • JuanDHexen says:

I think you said it backwards, I was extremely disappointed with halo 3 Is almost the same shit as halo 2 they berly changed anything, I much rather play halo 2 than 3.

  8. Torgo says:

Sony owns Guerrilla Games, and Sony publishes the Killzone titles, so it’ll never go to a different platform. Way to do your research!!!!!

  9. Barry says:

    Here’s what I think of that article…

This article is a mis-representation of facts. You have used old data before recent events and posted it as what going on now. I own neither of these consoles and much prefer the PC, but what you are doing is no different to what anybody else is doing.

The fact is compared to what it did last time, the xbox has drawn more people to it in this generation, as has Nintendo which mean that Sony has lost some of its fan base. If you showed the first Xbox in the charts this would be realized, but you have deliberately left it out. What the chart would then show is that the difference between PS2 & PS3 sales has been taken up mostly by Nintendo and partly by the 360. A new system from Sony the last Gen king was hardly going to not sell at all was it? The PS3 is selling by brand name alone and it will be nowhere near what the PS2 did.

  10. dedbadger says:

You are assuming the 360 can handle the superior graphics of Killzone2? It would not be able to be directly ported, unlike if the game was coming from the xbox to the PS3… this will become more evident as the years tick by and the PS3 starts to demonstrate the far greater graphical power it has.

Killzone2 for the xbox? don’t think microsoft’s baby could take it!

    • citran says:

Just to rub it in … make a “not as good version”( lower graphics/shorter campain/ no online warzone) for the x360.

just to taunt them … saying if you want the real thing get a PS3
