Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition: Specs and Release Date

The Samsung (005930) UltraTOUCH S8300 Edition will be made available on the Vodafone network on March 19 in the UK. This cool looking phone features a 2.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and a slide out numeric keypad.
The phone also has an 8-megapixel camera; the dual LED flash helps to take pictures in low light settings. The camera is also capable of recording VGA resolution video. Other features include HSDPA/3G data, Bluetooth, GPS navigation, MP3 music and web browsing.
As we mentioned above, the Samsung S8300 will be due for release on March 12, 2009, on Vodafone UK. The handset will be free if you take out at a least a £30 monthly plan.
Vodafone are certainly launching some great phones, the HTC Magic will be launch very soon as well.

i have been trying to get this phone,but so far no-one has it can you confirm when it will be released.

I saw this phone in Carphone Warehouse in Worthing yesterday - it looks and feels really nice. Vodaphone in Worthing are hoping to have it in next week. Hope this helps 
Released today for O2. Was originally told it was out on the 25th March but they put it back a few days to today 27th March. Not appearing on their website though but I phoned today and upgraded. The phone is being delivered Monday!
Seen a none working version in an O2 shop a few weeks ago and it looked very nice. Cant wait till it comes!
