
Packard Bell DOT notebook cancelled, new model coming
By: Alan Ng | March 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been announced that Packard Bell have stopped development of their DOT notebook which was due to be released soon. Instead, they say they will focus on a new model with expected ‘changes to the brand.’
As reported by Electronista, The DOT notebook was based on the Acer Aspire One and had features such as an 8.9-inch display, an Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
As of yet, Packard Bell have yet to issue a statement explaining their reasons for ditching the DOT, nor have they released any info on this ‘new model’ that is on the way. We will let you know once we find out more details.
