Bill Gates World’s Richest Person: 30% decline in billionaires

Forbes has released its latest list of “Richest People in the World” and Bill Gates has regained the title as “Richest Person in the World.” Bill Gates lost $18 billion, but still managed to regain the top spot. There has also been a 30% decline in the number of billionaires.
Last year there were 1,125 billionaires in the world, now there are just 793. Bill Gates, now 53 has a net income of $40 billion with his main source of income coming from Microsoft. However, Gates stepped down from his day-to-day duties at Microsoft, so he can devote more time to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The organization assets were $30 billion in January; Gates has now increased his donations to $3.8 billion, which is up 15% from 2008. The Foundation is dedicated to fighting hunger in developing countries, as well as improving education in America’s high schools.

The decline in the total number of the world richest people is an alarming situation, may be because of the crises in the world market. This will also have an effect on the up coming billionaire’s like us. Am just graduate hoping to sign my name in the list of billionaires. My question is what are is this organization doing to encourage people like us?
