SmartQ 5 PMP / MID: Not much specs news

When we first learned about the SmartQ 5, we had to put up with a number of faked images that were made with photoshop. Thankfully we are happy to say that we now have some real pictures of what the company claims is a MID and not a PMP.

The SmartQ 5 PMP / MID runs on its own Linux distro and comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, along with a 800 x 480 resolution. The device supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, did we forget to mention that a FBReader comes installed.

There is no other detail available at the moment, but we can tell you that the SmartQ 5 will cost RMB899, that’s about $132. If you have any more information or spec details then please let us know.
