
PS3′s Killzone 2: Lead level designer Neil Alphonso has left Guerilla Games
By: Alan Ng | March 11, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed that the lead designer for Killzone 2 Neil Alphonso, has left Guerilla Games to join another company, UK based Splash Damage.
As reported by GI.Biz, Alphonso was seen as a key part of the team and had previous experience on titles such as Duke Nukem Forever and Splinter Cell.
Splash Damage, who are the creators of the Enemy Territory franchise for id Software are naturally very pleased with their new addition to their staff and think that Neil Alphonso will be an asset to their team.
Paul Wedgwood, owner of Splash Damage stated: ” I love Neil’s considerable focus on advancing our players’ experience, born-out by his refined design talent and stunning accumulation of knowledge while working on games such as Killzone 2 and Splinter Cell. He’s the perfect man to lead our team of really skilled level designers. I can’t wait for our fans to see what he and his team are working on.”
