New Talking Apple iPod Shuffle: features and price
By: Peter Chubb | March 11, 2009 | 1 CommentApple (NASDAQ:AAPL) have finally introduced its next generation iPod Shuffle, which we have been expecting for a while now. The Shuffle has always been the smallest from the iPod range, but the new device is half the size of the previous model.
The new iPod Shuffle is just 1.8 inches tall and 0.3 inches thin, making it the world’s smallest music player. The new model comes in silver or black and has a sleek design with a built-in clip on the rear. The new iPod Shuffle now has 4GB storage, allowing you to store up to 1,000 songs.
The new iPod Shuffle has a great new feature called “VoiceOver.” This new feature means that if you do not know the name of the song that you are listing to, with just the press of a button VoiceOver will tell you who the artist and song is while fading the music down.
The Apple iPod shuffle has a switch on the side with three positions. The left position is to shuffle your music, the position in the middle is to play the songs in order and the position to the right is to turn the device off.
The new iPod shuffle is available immediately and costs $79.
