Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss
By: Peter Chubb | March 11, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe Mercedes-Benz owned by Daimler (NYSE:DAI) introduced to us the McLaren SLR Stirling Moss at the Detroit Auto Show this year. This is to be the last version of the McLaren SLR line. The car is like Marmite, you either love-it-or-hate-it, but I have to admit, it stirs up a passion in me.
You can say this about the partnership with Mercedes-Benz and McLaren; they have come up with a unique car to send of their flagship model. The likes of you and I will never be able to own one of these, as only 75 are going to be made.
Those who will be able to purchase one are only the most loyal of SLR customers. The Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss will cost 750,000 Euros, and for that you get a supercharged V8 that produces 650 horsepower plus, and will reach over 200 without a sweat.
Mercedes-Benz has just released 25 new photos of the SLR Stirling Moss; view them from the link below.
