LG Cooky specs, price and release date
By: Peter Chubb | March 11, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere is no denying that the LG (SEO:066570) KP500 Cookie was a popular phone, but there is to be a domestic-issue upgrade from LG called the Cooky. When you say Cooky to someone you think of something not quite right or normal, weird name for a phone then.
The handset is 10.9mm thick and looks a lot like its older brother, with just a few minor upgrades. The Cooky has a 3-megapixel camera, 3D-ish UI with accelerometer support and microSD card slot, all of which is the same the Cookie.
The upgraded phone does have a few tricks up its sleeves though, like 7.2Mbps HSDPA and a T-DMB tuner, giving the LG Cooky and edge over the Cookie. The phone should be available in June for a price of about 590,000 won ($383).
