FCC News: Gigabyte M1028 netbook / tablet

When we first learned of the Gigabyte (TPE:2376) touchscreen M1028 netbook / tablet, we were worried that it would not hit US shores. Thankfully, the FCC has put us out of our misery by posting some pictures of the Gigabyte Touch Note M1028.

The FCC also decided to share with us their series of test results and a user manual. Looking at the manual, it states that the netbook is a M1028 CafeBook instead of Touch Note M1028, but if you were at CeBIT last week, you would clearly see that it is the same machine.

If you are still not convinced that the Gigabyte M1028 is not coming to the US just ask yourself this, why else would Gigabyte submit details of its laptop to the FCC. Some of the pictures that appear on the FCC website are of the inside of the computer, so we can see what makes the thing tick.
