Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 vs. HTC Touch Pro2

When phones are released, websites always pit them against each other; one site has decided to offer Sony (SNE) Ericsson XPERIA X1 vs. HTC Touch Pro2. I am sure that we have seen these phones pitted against each other before, but I cannot be certain of that.

These handsets are in direct competition with each other, both have similar specs, such as a WVGA screen and a QWERTY slider. The thing that you will notice is that the XPERIA X1 has a smaller screen and is thinner than the Touch Pro 2.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 has a metal case, compared to the chrome plastic of the Touch Pro 2. AreaMobile.de who have been comparing the two phones, are not happy with the hinge mechanism of HTC’s Touch Pro 2 and the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
