
Samsung Going Green: EcoGreen F2EG 1.5TB hard drive

Ltd (SEO:005930), understand that when developing new products, they need to make certain that they are better for the environment than in previous years. This is exactly what Samsung have done with its EcoGreen F2EG 1.5TB hard drive.
This hard drive has a storage capacity of 500GB per disk. The new device has an increased recording density; this is how Samsung managed to reduce the number of disks than on standard hard drives. The F2EG 1.5TB hard drive is more efficient when it comes to the amount of power that it uses, which should keep consumers happy.
With fewer heads, the new F2EG hard drive has less chance of disk failure; this enables computer manufactures to build systems that are more reliable. Samsung was able to reduce the amount of power needed to run the F2EG drive thanks to the use of EcoTriangleā¢, this new technology offers low-power, heat, and noise.
The Samsung F2EG 1.5TB hard drive is now shipped to OEM Businesses, the price is $149.99.
