Optus HTC Dream: Looking like the G1
By: Peter Chubb | March 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have been waiting for some time now to get some photos of the new HTC (TPE:2498) Dream Smartphone, which is heading for the Optus network in Australia and SingTel network in Singapore. Thankfully, TB Tech have managed to get hold of some photos, yes, you guessed it, it is just like the G1.
The handset is the first handset to run on the Google Android software, and has been available in the U.S with the T-Mobile network. This however is the first model using the HTC branding, who make T-Mobile’s G1.
When we see pictures of a new handset for the first time, they tend to look the same with all the same lighting. These photos are different; the low light certainly makes the phone look much nicer. These photos will not be of interest to consumers in the US or UK but those in Australia will absolutely love them.
