Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Microwave Science

The picture above shows what a fried Xbox 360 looks like once placed into a microwave for fun. Why would you do such a thing you ask? Well, its the new fun thing to do now when your Xbox 360 breaks down and the cost to send it back for repairs is too much, obviously.

Yep, that is exactly what the guys over at Deadlycomputer did with their Xbox 360 once it suffered an ‘high def video out’ issue. They thought: rather than spend the money on shipping their console back to Microsoft and waiting for a long period of time, they would prefer to just throw it in a microwave and see how it fairs after a good roasting.

Head to their website to see the step by step process of the experiment. For your enjoyment they have even included a seperate damage page, which gives you a scale of the devastation. We feel they might of been better off asking James Dean for some help.
