Microsoft’s take on PS3′s 20 million registered accounts
By: Alan Ng | March 10, 2009 | 5 CommentsMicrosoft have challenged Sony’s recent announcement about their latest successes with Playstation Network. Sony had stated that they had achieved 20 million registered accounts, but Microsoft have said, ‘what does Sony’s numbers really mean?’
When speaking to Videogamer, Microsoft UK’s Stephen McGill questioned Sony’s motives behind the figures, even saying that he doesn’t believe them and questioned whether some of the figures could be duplicates. He added: “Sony do what Sony want to do and if they think that’s right for their business to say those kind of numbers then they can do and will do whatever they want to do. Do I believe them? No.”
Just when we thought the war of words had calmed down between the two giants, these latest comments might of put a brief end to that. What do you think?
