Apple iPhone Navigation: XRoad G-Map Review
By: Peter Chubb | March 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere is no denying that the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone is a superb Smartphone; the reason for this is the huge range of application that are available. There are thousands of apps to choose from but one has always been missing from the App Store, and that is a real-time, turn-by-turn navigation application for the iPhone. That is until now, as XROADS G-Map can do just that.
The app costs $19 and is a great real-time navigation option for the phone, but how does it compare to stand-alone GPS systems such as Garmin, Mio or TomTom. When application developers design their apps they are asked to follow a few guidelines, and XROADS G-Map have done a great job doing that.
This app is simple to use, when you want to enter a destination just tap the “Where to?” button. If you wish to see, the map just click “View Map.” All iPhone users will find it very easy to use this new app.
