Sony Vaio P Specs and Benchmark Test

When we first reported the launch of the Sony (NYSE:SNE) it received a lot of attention, what we did not know is, there were three different models for the US market, all of which runs on the 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor. In other regions, these small computers run on either the 1.6GHz Z530 or the 1.86GHz Z540.

These Sony Vaio P models in the other regions use the same 60GB hard drive and 64GB and 128GB SSD options. These other models feature faster processors, as a result consumers are looking at importers such as Conics and Dynamism, but how much better are these other models.

When you study the table from pocketables.net, you will be amazed to learn that although there is a speed difference from the faster processors, there is more of a speed increase from the type of hard drive being used.
