By: Peter Chubb | March 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentPure Digital Technologies are a seven-year-old company who are based in San Francisco, and are known for giving us products like the Flip Video range of video cameras. A number of sources have confirmed that the company may be sold, and it is though that Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) has already put in an offer for $500 million.
Pure Digital Technologies have done well in the short amount of time that they have been trading; their Flip cameras have proved very popular. Consumers loved how they were able to use this small video device to upload video to the Internet.
According to Tech Crunch, a source has said that Pure Digital technologies have sold more than $200 million worth of these small cameras in the last few years. The latest is the Flip Mino HD, and judging by recent reviews, it is not hard to see why these video cameras are so popular.
