PS3 and Linux: Explosion of emulators for Yellow Dog Linux

While it may go unnoticed for many PS3 owners, it’s Linux capabilities are becoming more talked about, especially due to the emulated games it can run, using systems like Yellow Dog Linux.
For those of you who are interested enough and prepared to install Linux on your system, there is much to award you once you have finished. As seen over at Slashdot, a recent update for YDL, means that hundreds of emulated games are at your disposal, including ones from popular emulators such as Mame and Snes9x.
While it may be a daunting task setting up the linux OS on your PS3 system, the idea of playing old school classics could be a very tempting one for some. Let us know if you have Linux installed on your system, or if you intend to, following the recent update.
