Multiplayer on PS3’s Killzone 2 and Improving It

Gaming site Destructoid have written a great article explaining ways in which the online experience in Killzone 2 can be improved upon. We agree with them fully on how compelling and exciting the PS3 exclusive is and how some of their ideas they have mentioned could make the experience for gamers, that much better.

Firstly, you can read the full article here so you can view all of their ideas and tips to improve the game. The points we agreed on was the current functionality of the flybot and added support for the tactician class. At the moment, the flybot doesnt appear to help much and we thought that air support could be a little more rewarding for gamers once they unlock that ability.

The article really puts a lot of ideas up in the air for people to get excited about, especially when Killzone 2 announce their first DLC for the game, since it will happen eventually. What ideas do you have for improving the multiplayer aspect of Killzone 2?

My god, why are you guys writing articles?!?! You could be furthering the gaming industry by adding your invaluable points during game developement. Please, stop writing, right now….go out, and save the world!

Sarcasm aside, it’s Guerilla’s, let them improve THEIR game, the way THEY want to.

Well, actually, it’s not just Guerilla’s game. It also belongs to all of us who play it - you know, the guys who ultimately pay for the development, and who will probably be paying more for the DLC they create. So why shouldn’t we have a say in how OUR game evolves over time?

I can’t actually read the destructoid article here at work so I don’t know if they’ve already covered it, but I’d like to see the basic assault rifle’s power boosted a bit. It’s ridiculous that you can empty half a clip or more into a guy with absolutely no effect.
