Guitar Hero: Modern Hits for Nintendo DS will feature over 25 master recordings

Activision have today confirmed that the upcoming Nintendo DS game Guitar Hero: Modern Hits will feature over 25 master recordings. Some of these recordings are from artists such as Tenacious D, Sum 41 and Coldplay.

Another bit of good news is that the new game will be compatible with the other DS Guitar Hero games, On Tour and On Tour: Decades. Players will be able to share songs using the local wireless feature on the DS.

As reported over at Videogamer, the game will also feature 5 brand new venues to rock out at and two have already been confirmed. These are Rusty Rocco’s Venue and Casino Vicarious Venue. With all new gameplay modes on offer, this is looking to be an excellent addition to the Nintendo DS.
