Google is using their Moderator product to give advice for people who want ideas on how to save money. The new website powered by Moderator is called Tip Jar, and is certain to become very popular as people try to save as much money as possible in these lean times.
The site will gather money-saving tips in one simple place and allows visitors to rank that advice in order of how useful they were. The most popular tips will then rise up to the top of the list. Users are also able to submit their own tips.
Google Tip Jar is broken down into categories; these include family, food, finance, shopping, vacation and others. Some of the tips are very simple, like going to the shop with your belly full, that way you do not buy what you fancy eating at the time.
