Beatles Rock Band Gets Release Date
By: Peter Chubb | March 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe finally have the news that we have all been waiting to hear, the much-anticipated Beatles Rock Band will be launched on September 9 for worldwide release. MTV Games originally announced the game back in October 2008 and said that the game will be made available on the Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, and the Xbox 360 for around $60.
The new game, which is also getting some help from Rock Bands creators, Harmonix will let you sing and play along to all eras of Beatles music. You will have the chance to play your Rock Band instruments, or a range of new Beatles-like instruments, which should cost around $100.
Harmonix has said that this game will be much more than an expansion pack, they state that the game is a “full-grown, custom game built from the ground up.” The Beatles Rock Band is the first time that the Fab Four will features in the digital domain; we are still waiting to be able to download their music in digital format.
