It has been reported today that many gamers are having problems with Xbox 360 game Star Ocean. Many of you have said that the game ‘freezes’ up at random times, possibly due to a problem with the game when playing on 1080p.
An article over at Neocrisis has confirmed these problems to be true as the author of the article explained about glitches that had been occuring in his game. He believed it could be a problem with the game and not the Xbox 360 hardware as he had tested it on a number of consoles, including one with a Jasper chip but both tests resulted in the same freezing problem.
An update in the story confirmed however, that the game froze ‘less’ when playing the game in 720p mode, instead of 1080p leading many to believe that the console has problems coping with some of Star Ocean’s demands.
Let us know if you have been encountering these freeze issues, we’ll keep you updated if we hear any official word from Square-Enix or Tri-Ace.

I guess this means that the ps3 couldn\’t handle pro evolution soccer 2009 then, as it had exactly the same problem when it originally launched…. or maybe, just maybe, its a bug in the games coding.
Obviously being one of the biggest ps3 fanboy sites around i wouldn\’t expect you to have considered that.
Quit acting like you run an impartial site, because you so clearly dont.
